Privacy Policy
iNeedRide is designed to keep your ride history private. The app does not use advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking.
Location Data
iNeedRide uses your device location when you record a trip. Location data is used to build your route and calculate information such as distance, duration, average speed, and maximum speed.
Location data is not used for advertising or tracking.
Trip and Garage Data
Your trips and vehicle information are stored on your device. When iCloud is available, iNeedRide also synchronizes this information using Apple's CloudKit private database associated with your iCloud account.
iNeedRide does not operate its own server that stores your trip history or Garage data.
iCloud and CloudKit
Cloud synchronization is provided by Apple through iCloud and CloudKit. Data stored in your private CloudKit database is associated with your iCloud account and is subject to Apple's privacy practices and terms.
Apple Watch
If you use iNeedRide on Apple Watch, ride-related information may be exchanged between your iPhone and Apple Watch to provide ride recording and synchronization features.
Sharing
iNeedRide can generate a shareable image from a completed trip. Nothing is shared automatically. Information leaves the app only when you choose to share or save it using the iOS share sheet.
Accounts
iNeedRide does not require you to create an iNeedRide account or provide a username or password.
Advertising, Analytics and Tracking
iNeedRide does not currently include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or technologies used to track you across apps or websites.
Data Deletion
You can delete individual trips and vehicles from within the app. Deleting the app removes locally stored app data from the device. Data synchronized with iCloud may remain in your private iCloud storage until it is deleted through the app or otherwise removed from iCloud.
Children
iNeedRide is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information through a developer-operated account or server.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when iNeedRide changes. The latest version will always be available on this page.
